    .
    Each month they will focus on a specific topic related to patient safety.They will also provide access to tools and resources to help organizations focus on patient safety and implement process improvement programs.
  • Improving Patient Safety - A Free Online Education Session
    Join Dr. Peter Pronovost, who has written more than 100 articles and
    chapters in the fields of patient safety, ICU care, quality health care and
    evidence-based medicine, for an in-depth educational session on safety in
    the ICU. In this session, "Improving Patient Safety: From Rhetoric to
    Reality
    ," Dr. Pronovost will address the need to improve care in the ICU.
    You will gain practical tools to reduce or eliminate preventable morbidity
    and mortality, and the costs associated with ICU care.

    This session has been developed as a resource for senior hospital executives
    through an unrestricted educational grant from Eli Lilly & Company. There is
    no cost to access this session on the Hospitals & Health Networks Web site.


  • Measuring, Monitoring & Preventing Medical Harm from a Systems Perspective
